Who is this course for?
The Waiting List Analysis course is for hospital and healthcare provider staff that want to improve patient care by reducing waiting times supported by analytical techniques. The participant will become comfortable using data to drive waiting list performance in their organisation.
"MedModus’ waiting list tracker tool is central to managing and improving waiting list performance in Tallaght Hospital. The tool allows us to observe trends, drill down to specialist level, study chronological booking and make forecasts. The fact that the trackers are produced automatically saves many hours of reporting time and allows our scheduled care teams to focus on improving wait times for patients rather than producing reports. It facilitates more focused discussions with medical and surgical consultants and provides immediate information on proposed changes to waiting list trends."
Aims of the course
- To develop a tool that will allow users to continually monitor waiting list performance
- To give healthcare professionals the fundamental techniques needed to analyse waiting lists
